Review and Update Diagnosis and Treatment of HCC

17/09/2011
WELCOME MESSAGE
According to the Global Center statistics (GLOBOCAN 2008) of IARC, hepato-cellular carcinoma is currently the most frequent cancer in Vietnam, proceeding lung, stomach and breast cancer.

HCC has poor prognosis which is even worse in patients in our country. It results from the fact that patients presented to us in advanced stage of the disease and the comprehensive and optimal treatment policy for HCC is not applied in most of our hospitals.

Together with the progressive development of modern diagnosis and treatment equipment, it is necessary to up to date the protocol for screening, diagnosing and treating for HCC.

It is our honour to organize this conference. We hope that this is a chance for us to share the experience and improve the prognosis for patients.
